About Sydney

Meet sydney McDowell

San Francisco found me over two decades ago when I arrived for graduate school. A Native Californian, I grew up in Gold Country and then lived in a college town on the Central Coast. When I arrived in San Francisco I was quickly drawn in by The City’s history, culture, and people. In the years since, I met and married my husband, adopted a dog, and started a family. I owned and operated physical therapy clinics where I helped countless fascinating patients and built a vast network of professionals in various industries. Having lived in seven unique neighborhoods and nine different homes in San Francisco, I’ve experienced much of what The City offers but am happily still exploring!

Patience, compassion, and collaboration.

Developed throughout my years in healthcare, I now count on these skills as a realtor. I care for my clients, many of who have become lifelong friends. I consider myself their advocate and enjoy working together through what may seem to be an overwhelming endeavor. Thanks to my personal experiences with commercial real estate and buying our San Francisco home, I truly empathize with my clients.

I’ve been fortunate to find my community in many different places during my two decades in San Francisco–our neighborhood, our school, through running, at the office, and within my beloved acapella group.

Let me help you find your community.

My mission

I love to bring people together and support good people doing good things.

Having lived in San Francisco since my early 20s, I’ve had my share of friends and acquaintances come and go. Truthfully, I never dreamed I’d be here as long as I have been, but San Francisco has my heart and it’s home for my family. My San Francisco world has expanded, yet I still appreciate the things I discovered in my 20s, now seeing them through my child's eyes.

My approach to real estate is the same one I developed in my 20 years as a physical therapist. Building strong relationships with my clients is the cornerstone of my work. In order to best help someone with their needs, I have to understand their goals, desires, and motivations. This requires that I listen carefully, let my clients lead the way, and share my opinions to guide their process.

I have been lucky to develop life-long relationships with my clients. While their needs and goals may change with time, having that connection lets me meet their needs no matter their stage in life.

San Francisco is a vibrant, dynamic city full of possibilities and I am lucky to call it home. I want you to call San Francisco home.
